Babar – Rizwan came to Bangladesh to play BPL

The first leg of the Dhaka phase of the BPL ended on Monday (January 22). Despite having a contract with Rangpur Riders, Pakistan’s star cricketer Babar Azam could not play in this phase due to international matches. However, this batsman caught the plane of Bangladesh after finishing the match of the national team.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have already set foot in Dhaka to participate in the BPL.

Rangpur pulled Babar into the team long before the start of the 10th season of BPL. However, due to the series against New Zealand, this Pakistani batsman could not play from the beginning of the tournament. After finishing that series on Sunday (January 21), Babar came to Bangladesh on Monday.

On Monday (January 22), the Rangpur franchise announced the arrival of Babar on their official Facebook account. His national team teammate Mohammad Rizwan came to Bangladesh on the same day with Babar. He will play this season for Comilla Victorians.

Although Babar-Rizwan came, PCB did not give no-objection letter to many cricketers in this year’s BPL. Fakhar Zaman, Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Haris are in this list. Haris came to Bangladesh without a permit. However, he did not get it and finally returned to the country.

Before Babar-Rizwan, some stars of Pakistan have come to play in BPL. Among them, Pakistan’s Fahim Ashraf is playing for Khulna. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Imran are playing for Barisal. Salman Irshad is playing in Babar’s Rangpur.
