Victoria’s top male and mixed teams will compete in the biggest annual men’s netball competition, the 2024 Australian Men’s & Mixed Netball Championships, in a matter of days. It has been confirmed that the AMMNA Championships in 2024 will take place in Nissan Arena. Run by Netball Queensland, the facility is home to the Queensland Firebirds, Brisbane Bullets, and Queensland Suns.

Nissan Arena is a state-of-the-art, modern facility including seven indoor community courts, spacious concourses, and a broadcast-ready basement show court with 4,000 seats.

Nissan Arena is located 12.5 kilometers from the Brisbane CBD between the busy Kessels and Mains roads in the Nathan district of Brisbane.

State boys’, men’s, and mixed teams from across the country participate in this national event over the course of a week of hard netball.

The Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Championships 2024 will take place at Nissan Arena, home of the Queensland Suns, from March 31 to April 6, 2024.

At Brisbane’s Nissan Arena, 43 teams from seven states and territories, the Australian Defence Force, and international invitationals will gather for this year’s game.

In seven divisions—Open Men’s, Open Mixed, Reserved Men’s, Reserved Mixed, 23 and Under Men’s, 20 and Under Men’s, and 17 and Under Boys—teams will compete for the title of Australian Champions.

The AMMNA Championships

The Australian Men’s & Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) was established in 1985. Victoria and South Australia, two of the original members of the Netball Association, participated in the first Men’s and Mixed Netball Championship held in Melbourne in April 1985.

Over the past 34 years, the Australian Men’s & Mixed Netball Championships has expanded, drawing teams from seven states and territories to fight for national titles and the opportunity to be selected for Australia.
